Trust in the Process

Hello Loves,

If you’re following me on Instagram (@teachermommylife) then you know I’ve been talking all about trusting the process. Here is a question for you to really think on today:

Have you ever noticed, the more amazing the life experience, the more risk you had to take to get there?

This could have been when you accepted the proposal, moved to another state, changed careers, or traveled around the world with just a backpack and the clothes on your back.  Great things happen from great chances we take!

Trusting in the process requires you to take the leap of faith first.  For some, before taking the plunge you might do some prep work first. You do the research, read the books, ask all the people, and gather all the information to make the best informed decision you could.  You did ALL the things, then you cross referenced all the things, took an extra couple of days, weeks or even months to process it all so you could ensure the best possible outcome.

But there’s one thing you can’t do no matter how much work you put into knowing all the things and prepping for the big decision or big leap.  You can’t GUARANTEE the results…...and then the fear sets in and you can’t decide. You’ve exhausted yourself. You did all the things and put in all the energy.

Ladies, here is my #1 tip to save you any more time and energy you plan on investing in doing any more prep work………….TRUST.  TRUST the process.

Call in all the faith you have in yourself to trust that what’s going to happen was going to happen and that you did all you could do for its outcome. Trust in YOURSELF and take the leap and know things will turn out exactly as it is suppose to.  You will need to breathe life into this vision that this decision is for you. This thought is on repeat in your head and your voice. Regardless of the end result, you will GAIN FEEDBACK in the form of an outcome. You will gain the knowledge, learn the lesson and be informed as to how to make your next move.  But you won’t have a next move unless you make the first move. Release the fear, and trust in you.

My most recent risk I took was what I am doing right now.  Sharing my thoughts, tips, strategies, and methods to living YOUR BEST life.  It wasn’t long ago that I struggled with where I stood in my journey. On paper, life was great, but something was missing.  Through a lot of work on mindset and personal growth and my background in teaching, exercise science, psychology and wellness education, I made massive changes in my life.  From there, I felt called to help women in their life journey to be thriving and to live vibrantly, joyfully and fulfilled. But it took a leap of faith to trust that what I had to offer could serve others.  Ultimately, that trust led me right here, sharing this space with you because, heck ya I have a lot to offer other women who are struggling to find their happy, joy and purpose. It’s so easy to make our lives look great on paper, but is that enough to feel you are living in your purpose?I also had to trust in the process.  I am putting myself out there with high hopes to serve other women even though I have never done this before. But I believe in the purpose to encourage and empower other women to live their best lives and I believe in myself. Everything else is the process I will continue to learn and grow from. As much fear as I had going into this, I am feeling greater excitement and joy from taking this leap.

Here are a few questions to have you journal on today:

  1. Tell me, when was the last time you had to decide to take a leap of faith?

  2. What decision are you trusting yourself to make?

  3. What risk and trust work do you want to accomplish?

  4. What steps did you take towards making that leap of faith?
